Episode 10 - Treat Box Tutorial

Hello everyone! Welcome back to KatelynCo! Do you remember my Retirement series? I was making gifts for the retiree. Well, my family and I were also in charge of the decorations. So, I decided to make a treat box for candy. I had made a few when I realized that a few people don't know how to make these super-cool boxes that I found on Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More cartridge. So I decided to make a video for you! Enjoy! ~Emma

'Welcome Little One' Popcorn/Favor Box

Yesterday on my Facebook Page, I shared this sneak peek of what was to come today. Well, are you ready to see???? :)
I made this adorable little popcorn box to be used as a favor/candy/anything else you can think of (LOL!!) box. I am spotlighting in this project Pink By Design Stamps, Glitter Paper from Die Cuts with a View, and twine in the colors Blossom and Caribbean from The Twinery.
I cut it at 5.5" from Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More Cricut cartridge. cut the white circle at 1.75" from George and Basic Shapes and inked it with pink ink. I then stamped my sentiment in brown ink. I used 2 scalloped circles from Mini Monograms (cut at 2"). I adhered one flat on the box, the other is pop-dotted above it.
For the twine, I just used both colors and tied a little bow. :) Super simple!! I tried to keep this project so that it could be used for either gender. You could also switch the colors for a different look.

Do you notice anything different on my photos? That's right!! I purchased a watermark!! I love how subtle it is, yet it marks the picture as truly mine. :) I purchased it from DPNDSUDIO on Etsy. Here is the listing for the water mark that I purchased. I am extremely happy with it!

The 1st Day of Christmas - Homemade Gift Tags

Hello everyone!! Welcome to the 1st day of Christmas in my 12 Days of Christmas event! ;) Today I am going to show you the gift tag design that I am going to use this year. I used a top-note shape that you can get from quite a few cartridges. I got mine from Gypsy Wanderings. The candy cane is from Christmas Cheer. I planned this out on my Gypsy to save paper. For the sentiment, I used a $1 stamp set from Michael's. Here is the tag design that I used last year:


For this tag, I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More for the tag. The snowflake is from the Christmas/Noel cartridge. The stamp is from my stash of wooden stamps, so I don't know where I got it. :)

Black, Pink, and Green Tag (with a little bit of blue).

This is project number 12 and challenge number 11 (make something with pink, green, and black) Okay, first off, I have to confess that I looove making tags. They are so simple and small. And so easy. I confess that I added blue onto this challenge. :0) There was no rule saying that you couldn't add anything. I have made a few tags, but I don't make loads of them. I use cards a lot more than I do tags. But I know I will use this one. Come back for more soon!! ~Emma

Birthday Set

Sorry this blog post is rather (really) late. This blog post is something new for me. I am attending a birthday party for my friend Sunday, so I made a matching set of gifts. A card, a set of cards for her to use (the topper matches) and a gift card holder to hold the gift card I got her. It was my first time trying a circle card and the scalloped scallops made it even more difficult. The second picture shows how the gift card holder works. It is a match box.
