Thanksgiving Thank You Cards

Hello everyone! Wow! I feel as if I haven't posted in forever. I had to make some thank you notes and decided to just make them fall/Thanksgiving-ish.For these cards, I used paper from my All Seasons II Stack from Hobby Lobby. I hand-cut pennants for the card on the right. The ribbon pulls the brown back into the scheme. And the stamps are from TPC Studios. :) I really like the way these turned out! Happy Thanksgiving!! ~Emma

Circus Thank You Card

Hello everyone!! Welcome to KatelynCo!! Today I have a cute Thank You card to share. This is a circus themed card. I just used the Create a Critter cartridge for this card. I loved the little peanut and circus tent, so I decided to use those. The face on the peanut is from Peachy Keen Stamps. It is from the Everyday Faces set. For the cross hatch on the peanut, I drew it on using my Cricut markers. I didn't want to cut that tiny piece. The banner I made by welding 2 signs together. I scored it with my trimmer to add dimension. The twine is Charcoal twine from the Twinery. The embossed background is the seeing spots folder that I inked. The stamp is from TPC Studio. I hope you have enjoyed this card! ~Emma

P.S. The winner for the vinyl has been chosen. Congrats to Lisa!! :) ~E

3 Turtle Cards

Hello everyone!! Welcome to KatelynCo!! I haven't been posting because I've been so busy. I have started something new with birthday cards. I just make as many as I need of one card. It's a great way to use your scraps too. :)
For these cards, I used TPC Studio Greetings Stamps and The Twinery's Charcoal twine. I also used my Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder. The turtle I cut from Create-a-Critter cartridge. I originally was going to do all the layers, but when I put them on, it didn't look quite right, so I just drew the circles on with a white gelly roll pen. I cut the bottom of the black layer with some decorative scissors to give it texture.

Homespun Elegance Prince Blog Hop

I also wanted to announce the blog hop that I am participating in later this month. I have some great blog candy to giveaway. :) Hope you all will join us starting at Jessica's blog (www.homespunelegance.blogspot.com). Hope to see you all then!! ~Emma

Football Thank You Card

Welcome to KatelynCo! I created this 4"x4" thank you card using Boys Will be Boys! I really like that cartridge because it has such cute, easy-to-layer images. I used the green paper from Hobby Lobby to resemble a football field. I cut the pennant shape by hand and stamped it with TPC Studio stamps. I also used Lemondrop twine from the Twinery. I hope you've enjoyed this project, and I hope that I've inspired you today. :) ~Emma

A Valentine's Recap

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!! :) For today, I am going to show you most (if not all) of the valentines that I made this year.

I thought I would start with my favorite. A fun, flourish heart from Celebrate With a Flourish was the perfect cut to finish this card up. Here's its post.

I made this valentine while I was trying out the Cricut Design Studio trial version (I like my Gypsy WAY better). :) I didn't make a post on this one. The patterned paper is from Hobby Lobby and the stamp is from TPC Studio.
Here is my second favorite valentine. :) I made this without a Cricut cut; however, I did use my Cuttlebug. Seems like I can't make a card without Provo Craft products. :D Here is it's post.
Here is a different color-schemed card. I used my Cricut on this one. :) I really like this stamp cut and will most definitely be using it again. :D Here is its post.
Here's the last one. I made this one to try out my Pink By Design stamps. I love the little 'angel heart'. ;) Here is it's post from July 2011. :D

I am a little late handing out my valentines, so there may be a couple more coming up. :D Tomorrow is a Valentine's Thank You card. :) Something different than usual, right? ~Emma

Basketball Thank You Card

Welcome to KatelynCo! Today I am sharing a Thank You card that I made. This card is 4.25" x 4.25". The background is navy to match the polka dots and the banner with a stamped sentiment. The mat for the patterned paper is the same color as the twine which is the Lemondrop color from The Twinery. The stamp is from TPC Studios greetings set. The basketball I put together on my Gypsy. I cut the circle from Boys Will be Boys and then used my Cricut Markers to put in the details. I hope you enjoyed this card, and I hope you have a great day!! :) ~Emma

Angry Birds Card

Whoops! This post was supposed to go up yesterday (2/10/12), but I forgot. Ooops!! Oh well! It's up now! Hope you enjoy!

If you remember back in October, I designed an Angry Birds die cut on my Gypsy (here's the post). Well, I finally designed a card around that. I also made a pig die cut. :) Here it is!!

I used TPC studio stamps for the sentiment and Create a Critter for the egg and the crown. I just made this a really simple card. It is very simple to put together. I wanted to add a full pig somewhere, so I decided to do it on the inside. Just make your cuts, pop dot them on, stamp, and you're done. ;) I hope you liked this card and I will be back Monday with something new! :)

Vintage Valentine Video!!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to KatelynCo! Today I am making a Cricut-less (shocking, right??) for the Krafty Valentine's challenge on Timeless Twine's blog.

After I had finished the video, I realized that I had missed a part of the challenge. I had missed the scallop part. So I quickly took some scallop scissors, and cut the right edge of the card. I wished I had a punch that would have done a better job, but oh well! :)

Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping in! ~Emma

Simple yet Elegant Wedding Card

Hello everyone!! Today, I wanted to share a wedding card that I made. It was so simple to make. I used silver glitter paper from Die Cuts with a View Glitter Stack. The patterned paper is just white paper stamped repeatedly with silver ink. The rings were just cut in gray paper and I used a burgundy (to match the base) marker to color the ribbon. I also used glitter glue to make the diamond stand out. I can't remember where I got the sentiment stamp. :) I hope you all have a great day and I hope to have inspired you today!! ~Emma

Doggie Card

Hello everyone! I thought that today I would take a break from videos and just do a project. I created this card for a 6-year-old boy. I think he will like the greens, blacks, and greys. Those colors seem to naturally go together. The dog is from Boys will be Boys cartridge and the stamp is from TPC Studios. Well that's all for today. See you soon! ~Emma

Adorable Trike Card

Hello everyone!! Hopefully you had a good week and are having a great Friday so far. I'm SOOOO looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm going to share a card that I made yesterday. I used Boys will be Boys for the trike and I cut it out at 2 inches. The green is cut at 2.5 inches. I stamped it repeatedly with TPC studio stamps and Pink By Design stamps. I Cuttlebuged the gray piece of cardstock (cut at 5.25x4 inches). The card is 5.5x4.25 inches. I like doing all of these simple cards with scraps and pre-cut pieces. They are such a time saver. ;) Hope you all have a great day and weekend!! :) Visit me soon for more fun projects! ~Emma

Stamp Sample and Zebra Card

Hi everyone! I thought I would share a project today that used the stamps that we made yesterday. The flowers that are stamped on the envelope were stamped with those stamps. As you can see they stamp very well. I just love how this card and its envelope turned out. So cute. :) I just thought I would share. Thanks for stopping by!! ~Emma

Super Cute Cupcake Card

Hi guys!! So sorry that it has been over a week since I posted. I made this adorable card to send to my little cousin for her birthday. Actually I made this card a while back, but I refinished it. I wish that I had a picture of it before I refinished it. It looks so much better. The cupcake and all of the balloons are popped up even though you can't see it in the picture. I hope you all have a great day!!

P.S. The Facebook and Picasa albums are still under construction. Thanks for your patience!! ~Emma

Black, Pink, and Green Tag (with a little bit of blue).

This is project number 12 and challenge number 11 (make something with pink, green, and black) Okay, first off, I have to confess that I looove making tags. They are so simple and small. And so easy. I confess that I added blue onto this challenge. :0) There was no rule saying that you couldn't add anything. I have made a few tags, but I don't make loads of them. I use cards a lot more than I do tags. But I know I will use this one. Come back for more soon!! ~Emma

Just a Note Doggie Card

This challenge was number 10 and I was supposed to use a pet in my project. This was also project number 11. I loooove this card. This is my favorite of all my NSD projects. I love the flower paper that I used. and this dog is one of my favorite cuts. I made the little envelope myself and I will send this card to a very special friend (you know who you are). LOL!! The cut didn't quite cut the way it should have, but it worked out fine. Come back in a little bit for more!!! ~Emma

Glitz, Glam, and Glitter Heart Paper Clip Card

This was challenge number 9 and project number 10. This card has a lot of sparkle and shine to it. I love hearts too, so I used some background paper I made myself. I also used a paper paperclip with a heart on top and slipped it onto the ribbon for a touch of fun. Come back for more fun and giveaways!! ~Emma

Smile Watermelon card

This is challenge number 8 (create something with a summer theme) and project number 9. This card I made using a Cricut die cut that I haven't used very much, if at all. Even though you can't see it very well, the sentiment says 'Smile'. I love summer, even though I don't love watermelon. I love the swimming and the warmth (if it is not hot). This was a very fun card to make, and I will enjoy sending it. :-) Come back for more soon!! ~Emma

Beach Scene Card

Hello everyone! Sorry that it has been so long since my last post. On Saturday I set up my digital frame in my room with pictures of my cards. It makes me think of the people who I sent or sold them to. I will post a picture tomorrow. On to the card. I made this for a relative who loves the beach. I thought that the tag with the word 'DREAM' was the perfect touch. She said it was almost fit to frame. :) That is a compliment. ~Emma
