Christmas Wishes

Last Christmas I received a new camera. It's a typical point and shoot camera. I didn't really try doing artistic shoots with it until about a week ago. Until then, I thought that I needed an SLR professional camera to get really great artistic shots. I was inspired by my friend that I met not 6 months ago. Being a very avid photographer, she inspired me to try new things with my camera. Thanks, Abby. :) Since then, I have been trying different things with my camera. Here is a Christmas shot that I took of a wrapped present under the tree. I like this picture because it shares the spirit of Christmas with the lights and the spirit of giving. :) This Christmas, I am thankful that I have learned contentment with cameras and other things. :) And I know that I will be using my camera this Christmas at family events. So, from my family to yours a VERY Merry Christmas. :D ~Emma

P.S. This is my last post before Christmas, minus the 12th day of Christmas, so this is my Christmas post, (even though it is Christmas Eve). Merry Christmas! ~E

Gypsy Trick

So today, I thought I would share with you an awesome trick from the wonderful Tammy Skinner of tammyskinner.com. She did a video not too long ago on how to organize your Gypsy files. If you have a Gyspy, you know that you can store up to 10,000 files on it, plus thousands of cartridges. I don't think that I will ever get close to 1,000, let alone 10,000, but I do have quite a few files on my Gypsy. I found Tammy's tip EXTREMELY helpful and I sat down and reorganized my Gypsy using her method. This Blog is Closed

I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting lately, but I have been having a very busy week. I will be having busy weeks for the next couple of them. So this blog is officially closed until the 23rd of August. Maybe there will be a project once or twice, but not very much. I'm very sorry. See you on the 23rd. :)

St. Jude's Children's Hospital Week

Hi everyone! This week is St. Jude's Hospital Week. This week all proceeds will be donated to the hospital. Facebook Update!

Hi everyone! I have not been posting projects because I have been so busy getting the facebook page (www.facebook.com/KatelynCo.EKS) up to date and getting things in order. We have made it past 25 fans. Last I checked we were at 32! :) So when I get some scraped together, I am going to giveaway a bunch of handmade cards that I made. Making your own stamps

Today I am going to show you how to make your own stamps using craft foam! These are really fun to make and stamp really well. All you need is craft foam, white glue, a craft knife, and a pattern (I used my electronic cutting machine). Let's make some stamps!

To start you need to cut your foam with your machine or trace your pattern on your foam

No Project Today (sorry!)

Hi guys! Sorry that I don't have a project for you today! I was going to have a layout, but my scanner isn't working. There will be no posts from now until Monday, July 4th. On July the 5th I will have a project for you. I am doing this so that I can work on my Picasa and Facebook albums a little more, rather than make projects to show you. When I get them finished I will update them continually so that I do not get into this mess again. I'm very sorry! Come back on the 5th for more projects!! ~Emma

Giveaway from NSD

Sorry I did not get this posted yesterday. No computer access!! AAAHH! Oh well. The only giveaway that I have from NSD is the 'My Journey' breast cancer mini album. This is a 4x4 album and I am only giving it away since I do not have anyone super close to me with breast cancer. My birthday is coming up soon, so there will be three huge giveaways announced later today!! Can anyone wait? I sure can't. Let everyone know about this giveaway!! Decoupaged Frame

Boy am I really good at keeping my promises to you guys! LOL!! Yesterday was very busy, so I didn't have time to post this picture of a frame that I decoupaged. I made it using my scraps of patterned paper to represent all of my cousins and my siblings different personalities. I am not sure what to put this under in Picasa Web Albums, but I will work on it. This frame in itself is not available, directly. But if I receive a request for one I might be coaxed into making one for you. See you soon! ~Emma

My digital frame

As promised here is the picture of my digital frame set up in my room. It plays pictures of my creations. And look it has my Chillin card on it. :-) It is funny. Almost every picture makes me think of someone that I either sent the card to or sold it to. I am so sorry that I don't have a project for you today, but I will tomorrow. If you remember I posted not too long ago that something exciting was coming. Well.. it's here!!! I'm so excited to introduced to you (drum roll please) the Picasa Albums!!!! In these you can see all my work, plus cards that are not for sale. You can browse all the cards to mix-and-match different elements from different cards to make your unique card. Plus you can view all the cards that I have made that are for sale and purchase those. The albums will be updated continually.
