Hello everyone. Yes! I'm doing a blog post. This card that I made was a wedding card for a good friend of my family's who was getting married. I made this card to sort of go with the wedding colors (blue and yellow), but I didn't have exact colors on hand. But it works!
The patterned paper is from the Boho Chic stack from Hobby Lobby. The brad and flower are also from Hobby Lobby. The couple is cut from the Wedding cartridge from metallic paper found at Michael's. The stamp is from Pink by Design.
I really love how this card turned out. I hope you enjoyed my card, and I hope you will check back for more posts! ~E

My First Iris Folding Card
Hello everyone! So yesterday, I decided that I would learn how to do a technique called Iris Folding. It is a neat technique where the paper is folded in a pattern in such a way that it gives a 3-D effect. I had never done this before and I really wanted to try it. When I was finished, the back of the piece was a mess, but with gorgeous results in the front. I made it into a 4.25" x 4.25" card by using my Gypsy to cut a heart out of a 4" x 4" panel. The heart is from Create-A-Critter. I also made the banner with my Gypsy and Create-a-Critter. The stamp is from Pink By Design Stamps' Vintage Greetings. I gave the banner more dimension by scoring and folding it slightly. To finish it off, a piece of twine from The Twinery.
I hope you all enjoyed my card. Stay tuned for an iris folding tutorial very soon! ~E

Crayon Wreath
Hello everyone! I finally finished my crayon wreath that I've been working on for a while. How did I do it you ask?
I used my Gypsy to cut two circles (one inside the other) to create a ring. This was cut with green cardstock and chipboard and these two glued together. All crayons were arranged in a rainbow of colors and hot glued in place. It's that easy. A simple ribbon is the hanger.
The crayons were bought on back to school sale super cheap, so two boxes of select colors were used. The double layer allows for a fuller, larger wreath. You could add school themed die cuts for an extra dimension. I was tempted to use colored tule for the hanger. But white ribbon from my stash easily worked. This is also a great teacher appreciation gift.
One warning: the crayons will easily mark on anything in sight. I wouldn't suggest putting this on a white wall/door (I just used mine for the photo.) :D Hope you all enjoyed this!! ♥E

Muted Colors Masculine Card
Hey everyone! Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend and new year! I wanted to share a card I made that I never posted. This last summer I bought my first border punch and have been in love ever since. They are so much easier to use than decorative scissors.
This simple card is perfect for the one male that is so hard to make cards for, but can easily be redone with a scalloped border punch, lacy ribbon, and a flower for a lady's card.
For this card, I used the Binding Edge Punch by EK Success for the edge, Vintage Greetings from Pink By Design, and jute binding. The stars are cut from George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge.
For the star, I cut a larger brown star and crimped it for some texture. The green star adds another layer to the the card.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you all have an awesome weekend! ♥E

Thanksgiving Thank You Cards
Hello everyone! Wow! I feel as if I haven't posted in forever. I had to make some thank you notes and decided to just make them fall/Thanksgiving-ish.For these cards, I used paper from my All Seasons II Stack from Hobby Lobby. I hand-cut pennants for the card on the right. The ribbon pulls the brown back into the scheme. And the stamps are from TPC Studios. :) I really like the way these turned out! Happy Thanksgiving!! ~Emma

Simple Wedding Card - I'm Back!
Hey everyone! Well! I might have my creative mojo back! I'm feeling excited about creating and ready to make a post. I created this simple wedding card about a month back. Here are the details:
Rings cut from Designer's Calendar
Stamp from Pink By Design's Vintage Greetings
Flower and brad from Hobby Lobby
Paper from Boho Chic Stack by The Paper Studio
I like using this cut on wedding cards, because it offers tons of creative possibilities with the ribbon. I usually color it in. If I know the wedding's colors, I usually do the card in that scheme. Otherwise, I just go with what I have.
I hope you enjoyed this post! I'm glad to be back! Have a wonderful Friday, everyone! ~Emma

You Make Me So Yappy Card
Hello everyone! Welcome to KatelynCo. Today I have a card that I made a while ago, but never posted. I used Create-a-Critter to cut the bone. I don't personally think that the Cricut does well cutting the little faces, so I drew my own. I used some patterned paper that I got at a garage sale (can anyone say bargain???). The Twinery Twine is Cappuccino. The stamp sentiment is from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Razzle set. A very quick, cute card. I hope you all enjoyed this card! :) ~Emma

For the tag that is stamped on, I used Once Upon a Princess. The rainbow and heart with wings are from Create-a-Critter. I used Maraschino twine from The Twinery to wrap across and break up the straight lines.
The sun is from Designer's Calendar. The sunglasses are cut from Create a Critter. The lollipop I created my self on my Gypsy. The bow around it is Orange Twine. The patterned paper is from Michael's.
